Bearing Type
Working Principle
There are two types of deep groove ball bearing, single row and double row, deep groove ball structure is also divided into sealed and open two kinds of structure, open refers to the bearing without sealing structure, sealing type deep groove ball is divided into dust seal and oil seal. The dust proof sealing cover is made of steel plate stamping, which only prevents dust from entering the bearing raceway. The oil-proof type is contact oil seal, which can effectively prevent the grease spillover in the bearing.
Deep groove ball bearings mainly bear radial load, but also can bear radial load and axial load. When it is only under radial load, the contact Angle is zero. When the deep groove ball bearing has a larger radial clearance, it has the performance of angular contact bearing and can withstand larger axial load. The friction coefficient of deep groove ball bearing is very small and the limit speed is very high.
FAQ
1What are the features and applications of deep groove ball?
Capable of very high speeds.
Can carry relatively high radial load.
Ability to carry some axial load in both directions.
Quiet running.
Low maintenance.
High running accuracy.
2What is deep groove in ball bearing?
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type and are particularly versatile. They have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration which enables high rotational speeds.
3What are deep groove ball bearings made of?
Seals – HQW deep groove bearings are available in both sealed and open configurations. Balls – Balls are usually made from stainless steel (X65Cr13). However ceramic balls (silicon nitride) are available for demanding applications.
