2. Choose materials
Special bearing for vibration:
A. The inner and outer ring and rolling element are made of vacuum degassing bearing steel, with good fatigue resistance.
B. The cage is made of aluminum, iron, manganese and bronze, which has high strength, good elasticity and better wear resistance.
Ordinary bearing:
A. Common bearing steel is used for inner and outer ring and rolling element.
B. The cage is made of zinc-brass, with low strength and poor elasticity.
3. Heat treatment
Special bearing for vibration:
A. The inner and outer ring adopts Bay-Horse mixed quenching or Mahalanobis quenching + high temperature tempering, uniform hardness, small internal stress; Good toughness, resistance to shock and vibration.
B. Good stability when working within 150C temperature.
Ordinary bearing:
The inner and outer ring adopts the ordinary quenching method, which has poor toughness, poor impact and vibration resistance, and poor thermal stability.
4. Tolerance and manufacturing process
Special bearing for vibration:
A. Strictly according to P6 precision standard manufacturing, especially the inner and outer diameter tolerance is very small.
B. The rolling body size difference between each other ≤0.002
C. Cylindrical roller outer diameter has convexity practice, to avoid stress concentration.
D. Rolling surface ultra-fine treatment, high finish.
Ordinary bearing:
A. Common PO class precision tolerance (part P6 standard) manufacturing.
B. Grouping of rolling body ≤0.005.
C. Cylindrical roller practice without convexity.
D. Some raceways are only polished, with low finish.
5. Internal clearance
Special bearing for vibration:
The clearance is produced according to the requirements of vibration machinery, and the range is controlled within a very small range with good consistency.
Ordinary bearing:
The clearance is generally produced according to the standard group or C3 group, and the clearance is either small or has a large range and large dispersion.
6. Use effect
Special bearing for vibration:
Low noise, low temperature rise, good stability, long service life, no early fatigue phenomenon.
Ordinary bearing:
High noise, high temperature rise, poor stability, short service life, early fatigue phenomenon.
