- Drilling, grooving, chamfering and turning the end face of the bearing are not allowed during installation. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the deformation of the bearing ring, which will affect the precision and life of the bearing. At the same time, the metal cut off will easily enter the working surface of the bearing, which will accelerate the wear of the raceway and rolling elements, and cause premature damage to the bearing.
- It is not allowed to hit the bearing ring directly with a hand hammer during installation. The reference end face of the bearing faces inward and is mounted against the shaft shoulder. The reference end face of the bearing is distinguished according to whether the end face of the bearing is typed or not. For deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, self-aligning roller bearings and needle roller bearings, the end face without words is used as the reference face; angular contact For ball bearings and tapered roller bearings, the flat end face is used as the reference plane.
- When installing, the pressure should be added to the end face of the ring with installation interference fit, that is, when it is installed on the shaft, the pressure should be added to the end face of the inner ring of the bearing; when it is installed in the bearing seat hole, the pressure should be added to the outside of the bearing circle end face. It is not allowed to transmit pressure through the rolling elements and hold.
- For bearings whose inner ring is a tight fit and outer ring is a slip fit, when installing, if it is an inseparable type, the bearing should be installed on the shaft first, and then the shaft together with the bearing should be put into the housing hole of the bearing housing; For separable type, the inner and outer rings can be installed separately.
- In order to prevent the bearing installation from tilting, the centerlines of the shaft and the bearing hole must coincide during installation. If the installation is not correct, the bearing must be pulled out through the end face of the inner ring when it needs to be reinstalled.
