1. Non-contact sealing cover (sealing cover and inner ring are not in contact), including stamped steel seal cover (iron seal) and non-contact rubber seal cover.
Advantages: dust proof, relatively high speed, metal seal cover relatively low mute effect, relatively low price.
Disadvantages: There is no protection against liquid foreign bodies.
2.Contact sealing cover (sealing cover and bearing inner ring with a single lip or more lip contact), including contact rubber sealing cover and labyrinth type contact sealing cover.
Advantages: dust proof, liquid foreign body prevention, high mute effect.
Disadvantages: slightly lower speed, slightly higher price.
Therefore, there is no difference between good and bad deep groove ball bearing sealing cover, only the difference between suitable. For example: in a clean environment, it is unnecessary to use contact rubber sealing cover, which will only increase the additional cost of the manufacturer.
To sum up, the sealing type of deep groove ball bearing is not good or bad. The main consideration is where the bearing is used and the environmental factors of the bearing need to be considered. The structure of the sealing ring is different, the material is different, and the friction coefficient is different.
