Reasons for the temperature increase of IKO bearings: (1). The bearing cooling water is interrupted. (2) Oil quality deteriorates, the oil itself is not clean or the oil deteriorates during operation. For example, the increase in moisture in the oil will cause the acidity of the oil to increase, which will reduce the lubrication effect of the oil, cause the bearing bush to be corroded, and cause the bearing temperature to rise.

  1. Reasons for the temperature increase of IKO bearings:
    (1). The bearing cooling water is interrupted.
    (2) Oil quality deteriorates, the oil itself is not clean or the oil deteriorates during operation. For example, the increase in moisture in the oil will cause the acidity of the oil to increase, which will reduce the lubrication effect of the oil, cause the bearing bush to be corroded, and cause the bearing temperature to rise.
  2. Phenomenon:
    (1). There is an alarm bell ringing.
    (2). The water wheel mechanical fault light plate on the side panel lights up, the temperature of the instrument indicating the IKO bearing temperature rises, and the signal relay operates.
    (3). The black needle of the thermometer plate (expansion thermometer) coincides with or exceeds the yellow needle.
    (4).Send a fault signal that the bearing temperature rises.
  3. Processing
    When the IKO bearing temperature rises, first determine whether it has malfunctioned. If it does rise, the following should be done:
    (1). Check whether the cooling water pressure, water flow and piping system are normal. If the water pressure is low, it may be that the filter is clogged. If it cannot be processed in time, it can be shut down for processing. When it is confirmed that it can work, it can be put into use again.
    (2). The oil pressure of the governor should be checked. If the oil pressure is low, it may cause the cooling water hydraulic valve to close.
    (3). Check whether there is any abnormal noise in the bearing, and detect whether there is any abnormality in the bearing swing.
    (4). Take an oil sample to observe whether there is a change in the oil color, and conduct a test to see if it has deteriorated. If deterioration is confirmed, the machine should be shut down and replaced with new oil.
    (5). Check whether the oil level in the oil gauge is normal. If not, check whether the oil tank drain valve is closed tightly. If it is closed tightly, the oil should be replenished. If the sealing gasket leaks oil, the machine should be shut down for treatment.
