Hybrid ceramic bearings may be less common, and the main configuration of hybrid ceramic bearings is composed of inner and outer ring bearing steel/stainless steel + ceramic balls + PA66/stainless steel retainers + 2RS/ZZ. Hybrid ceramic bearings have the following four advantages during use.

(1) High temperature resistance. The thermal expansion coefficient of ceramic balls is small. In high temperature environments, the bearing balls will not expand due to temperature reasons. This greatly increases the operating temperature of the entire bearing. The temperature of ordinary bearings is around 160 degrees, while that of ceramic balls can reach more than 220 degrees.

(2) High speed. Ceramic balls have oil-free self-lubricating properties and low friction coefficients. Therefore, ceramic ball bearings have a very high speed. According to statistics, the speed of bearings using ceramic balls is more than 1.5 times that of ordinary bearings.

(3) Long life. Ceramic balls can be used without any grease. That is to say, even if the grease dries up, the bearing can still operate. This avoids the occurrence of premature damage to the bearings due to grease drying in ordinary bearings. According to our tests and feedback from some customers, the service life of bearings using ceramic balls is 2-3 times that of ordinary bearings.

(4) Insulation. Bearings with ceramic balls can insulate the inner and outer rings of the bearings. Ceramic balls are insulators. Using ceramic balls between the inner and outer rings of the bearings can achieve insulation. This allows the bearings to be used in a conductive environment. This is also the biggest advantage of hybrid ceramic bearings.
