Reasons for nitrogen compressor bearing failure:

The main reasons are as follows:

1) Poor lubrication. ① The main oil pump is damaged, resulting in a drop in oil supply pressure. ②The inlet filter is blocked. ③The lubricating oil passage is blocked.

2) The oil system is not clean. ① The oil washing of the unit is unqualified. ② Particles are brought in. ③The lubricating oil is polluted and loses its lubricating and cooling effects.

3) The gap between the main bush and the journal is unqualified.

4) The position of the magnetic force center of the motor rotor is appropriate, and the alignment with the compressor is not good.

5) The installation of the compressor crankshaft and connecting rod is unqualified, and the horizontal or vertical error is too large.

6) The thermal expansion of the motor leads to an increase in the axial force, which exceeds the bearing capacity of the thrust bearing and causes damage.

The reason for the wear failure of the main bushing and thrust bearing of this nitrogen compressor is that the gap between the flywheel and the half coupling is not adjusted properly, resulting in a small thrust gap on one side of the crankshaft when the two are connected and driving, and after a period of load operation. , As the temperature of the motor rises, the axial thermal deformation of the motor shaft occurs, which further reduces the thrust clearance of the compressor crankshaft until the thrust bearing is squeezed, causing the thrust bearing to be damaged and the temperature to rise sharply. The heat generated by the wear of the thrust bearing leads to the deterioration of the lubrication condition of the corresponding main bearing bush, which further causes the burning loss of the main bearing bearing.

Troubleshooting of nitrogen compressor bearings:

1) Disassemble all the rotating parts, and check whether there is any burning phenomenon in the friction parts such as the main bearing bush, the big end bush of the connecting rod, and the crosshead pin;

2) Check whether the oil pipelines are unobstructed;

3) Carry out manual grinding treatment on the surface of the damaged journal, which is required to be smooth and smooth;

4) Replace the damaged thrust bearing and main bush, pay attention to adjust the clearance of the main bush;

5) Check and confirm the bearing clearance;

6) Re-adjust the centering of the motor to ensure that when the motor rotor is at the magnetic center, the crankshaft is at the center of the thrust gap.
