The installation and adjustment of low-noise bearings can also follow the grouping method of long-life bearings, so that the size of the fit interference is more consistent, and the clearance of the bearing is also more consistent. It is hoped that the fit interference can be taken to a smaller value within the possible range, so as to ensure that the deformation of the bearing raceway is small, and the noise caused by the rolling body passing through is reduced.

The gap has a great relationship with the noise, and the ideal state is when the bearing is in the highest temperature state of operation, the gap value is just zero. The way to judge the clearance is too large: the static state makes the axial displacement of the shaft, the amplitude of its reciprocation is large, and the noise is large and heavy.

If the operation of a nasty scream, it indicates that the bearing pre-tightening is too large, the bearing has a large pre-interference, should slightly relax the pre-tightening degree. If the clearance is too large, the two bearing rings can be slightly offset along the axial direction: it not only reduces the clearance, but also increases the axial rigidity, which can reduce the bearing noise.

When the rolling body enters the no-load zone, it will slip or move left and right, which will increase the noise and cause wear. Small clearance and large axial stiffness can eliminate this phenomenon. But the gap should not be too small, so as not to cause too high temperature and shorten the life.

Sometimes due to the large operating temperature range of the host, or the large size dispersion of the shaft and the seat hole, it is impossible to get a more appropriate clearance at one time. In this case, the outer ring of the bearing can be preloaded with elastic constant pressure.
