Internal stress is easily formed during plastic molding, and the stress concentration areas are prone to cracking after painting. Annealing treatment or whole surface treatment can be used to eliminate stress. The annealing treatment is to heat the ABS plastic molded parts below the heat deformation temperature, that is, 60°C, and keep it warm for 2 hours. Since the use of this process requires a large amount of equipment investment, the entire surface treatment technology can be used, that is, a solution that can eliminate the internal stress of the plastic part is prepared and the surface of the plastic part is treated for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature.

2.Degreasing
The surface of plastic parts is often stained with oil, hand sweat and release agents, which can cause poor adhesion of the paint and cause cracking, blistering and peeling of the coating. Degreasing should be carried out before painting. Plastic parts are usually cleaned with gasoline or alcohol, and then after chemical degreasing, the residual alkali solution on the surface of the workpiece should be thoroughly cleaned, and finally cleaned with pure water, and dried or dried.
3.Electrification and dust removal
Plastic products are insulators, and their surface resistance is generally around 1013Ω, which can easily generate static electricity. After being charged, it is easy to absorb fine dust in the air and adhere to the surface. Because it is very difficult to remove electrostatically adsorbed dust with ordinary air blowing, the use of high-pressure ionized air flow to remove static electricity and dust at the same time is better.
4.Spray coating
The thickness of the plastic coating is 15~20μm, and it usually takes 2~3 sprays to complete. After one spray, let it dry for 15 minutes before spraying a second time. Surfaces that need to be shiny must also be sprayed with clear paint. The coated parts have basically no effect on the flame retardant properties.
5. Drying
After coating, it can be dried at room temperature or baked at 60°C for 30 minutes.
