Concept：
The outer spherical ball bearing is actually a variant of deep groove ball bearing,characterized by its outer ring outer diameter surface is spherical, which can be fitted into the corresponding concave spherical bearing seat to play a role of self-aligning.
The outer spherical bearing is mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial loads mainly in the radial load, generally no suitable to bear the axial load alone.
The outer spherical bearing with seat is a kind of bearing element which combines the rolling bearing with the bearing seat. Most of the outer spherical bearings are made of spherical outer diameter and installed together with the bearing seat with spherical inner hole. The structure is diverse, and the versatility and interchangeability are good.
What are pillow block bearings made of?

Housing material for a pillow block is typically made of cast iron or cast steel.
