  • First, according to the text information determine the bearing.

Step: determine the bearing structure code (type code).  

Count one from left to right or add one and the second number together  

“6” means deep groove ball bearing  

“4” means double row deep groove ball bearings  

“2” or “1” indicates self-aligning ball bearing (4 numbers in basic model)  

“21”, “22”, “23” and “24” denote self-aligning roller bearings.  

“N” denotes cylindrical roller bearing (including short cylindrical roller and part of slender needle roller)

Third step, find the “self-aligning roller bearing” in the bearing manual, find the inner diameter (d) is 200mm, in combination with the outer diameter size (D) 340mm, width size (B) 112mm.  It can be determined that the basic code of the bearing is 23140.  

The taper of the inner hole indicates that there is a letter K in the rear code, and the cage is copper in the rear code with M (generally together with CA). The oil hole in the outer ring indicates that there is E4 in the rear code. Ask the user the temperature of the bearing working environment to determine whether there is a high temperature anti-deformation code of S11 ring.
