1.Load characteristics of rolling bearings

⑴ The contact load and stress of the rotating ring and rolling element when passing through each point in the load-bearing area are variable; and the contact load and stress at each contact point show the characteristics of pulsating cycle; there is no load in the non-load-bearing area;

⑵ The load and stress of each point of the fixed ring are not equal, and the contact load and stress at each load-bearing point show the same pulsating cycle characteristics, but the amplitude value is different;

The maximum load value at the bottom is, for deep groove ball bearings (6 types): F0= (4.37/Z) Fr.

2.Failure forms of rolling bearings

⑴ For bearings in normal operation (10 r/min＜n＜nlim) – fatigue pitting of inner and outer rings and rolling elements;

⑵ For bearings that are stationary or have low speed (n≤10 r/min) or intermittent swing – plastic deformation of inner and outer rings and rolling elements;

⑶ Inevitable friction and wear of inner and outer rings and rolling elements;
