When the bearing rotates at a high speed and bears a large axial load, the end surface of the nut in contact with the inner ring of the bearing should be perpendicular to the rotation center line of the shaft. Otherwise, even if the nut is tightened, the installation position of the bearing and the normal working condition of the bearing will be destroyed, and the rotation accuracy and service life of the bearing will be reduced. Especially when the fit between the bearing inner hole and the shaft is a loose fit, strict control is needed.

According to the size of the load
If the load or impact is large, choose roller bearings (line contact);
If the load is small or the impact is small, ball bearings (point contact) should be selected.

As one of the very important mechanical parts, the bearing end cover is the main external part of the bearing seat and has a wide range of uses. The main working surfaces of this part are the left and right end faces and the cylindrical surface of the left end face. Its general functions are:
(1) Axial positioning of the bearing outer ring;
(2) Dust-proof and sealed. In addition to being dust-proof and sealed by itself, it is often combined with seals to achieve the sealing effect;
(3) The end cover located between the lathe motor and the spindle box mainly plays the role of transmitting torque and buffering and absorbing shock, so that the spindle box rotates smoothly.
