The installation methods and tools for different types and sizes of imported bearings are also different, including mechanical or hydraulic. Here we mainly explain some common basic installation methods and precautions. First, do not install hard on the ball, which will cause local overload of the ball and contact surface, resulting in premature failure of FAG bearings. Second, do not use hard tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, etc. to hit the surface of the bearing, which will cause the outer ring of the imported bearing to break or crack.

The installation site should be a certain distance away from lathes, grinders and other mechanical equipment. The site should be cleaned and kept dry and clean at all times to prevent iron filings, sand, dust and moisture from entering the bearings.

Water-lubricated bearings refer to bearings that are used directly in water without any sealing device. The bearings are lubricated by water and do not require lubricating oil or grease, eliminating the harm of water pollution. Bearings are often used in flowing water, which can effectively control the temperature rise of the bearings, so that they have a long service life and are safe and reliable. The structure is suitable for horizontal, vertical and inclined axes.

The end face and inner and outer cylindrical surfaces of the bearing end cover require turning. Semi-finishing and rough turning can be used, and roughing and finishing should be carried out separately to ensure the surface roughness requirements. Hybrid ceramic bearings may be less common, and the main configuration of hybrid ceramic bearings is composed of inner and outer ring bearing steel/stainless steel + ceramic balls + PA66/stainless steel retainers + 2RS/ZZ. Hybrid ceramic bearings have the following four advantages during use.

Installation of NSK bearings: The installation of NSK bearings must be carried out in a dry and clean environment. Before installation, the machining quality of the matching surfaces of the shaft and the housing, the end faces of the bosses, the grooves and the connection surfaces should be carefully checked. All matching connection surfaces must be carefully cleaned and burrs removed, and the unprocessed surfaces of the castings must be free of molding sand.

(1) Do not open the original packaging, pay attention to whether the packaging is damaged, and try to keep the oil seal in the original packaging before assembly; (2) Avoid direct sunlight and do not place it near high temperature heat sources, as this will cause rubber aging; (3) Oil seals must not be scattered at will, pay attention to dust and soil prevention, and ensure that the oil seals are in a closed or covered state; (4) When transporting and using oil seals, in order to prevent the oil seals from deforming and the springs from falling off, please do not give excessive impact; (5) Oil seals must not be tied with thin ropes, nor hung on nails or metal wires, which will damage the sealing lip; (6) Oil seals must not be placed in humid places, which will cause metal parts to rust; (7) Do not place seals near TVs and places that produce ozone; (8) Do not rub the lip end with your fingernails or hard objects to prevent damage to the sealing lip;
