To overcome the shortcomings of fire prevention in practical applications of bearing steel materials, fire prevention treatment must be carried out, the purpose of which is to increase the fire resistance limit of bearing steel to the limit range specified in the design specifications. There are many measures to prevent bearing steel from rapidly heating up and deforming and collapsing in a fire. The key is to adopt different methods according to different situations, such as using insulation and refractory materials to block the flame from directly burning the bearing steel, reducing the speed of heat transfer, delaying the time when the bearing steel temperature rises and the strength weakens, etc. But no matter what method is adopted, the principle is the same. The following introduces several fire protection measures for different bearing steels.

Installation of NSK bearings: The installation of NSK bearings must be carried out in a dry and clean environment. Before installation, the machining quality of the matching surfaces of the shaft and the housing, the end faces of the bosses, the grooves and the connection surfaces should be carefully checked. All matching connection surfaces must be carefully cleaned and burrs removed, and the unprocessed surfaces of the castings must be free of molding sand.

(1) Do not open the original packaging, pay attention to whether the packaging is damaged, and try to keep the oil seal in the original packaging before assembly; (2) Avoid direct sunlight and do not place it near high temperature heat sources, as this will cause rubber aging; (3) Oil seals must not be scattered at will, pay attention to dust and soil prevention, and ensure that the oil seals are in a closed or covered state; (4) When transporting and using oil seals, in order to prevent the oil seals from deforming and the springs from falling off, please do not give excessive impact; (5) Oil seals must not be tied with thin ropes, nor hung on nails or metal wires, which will damage the sealing lip; (6) Oil seals must not be placed in humid places, which will cause metal parts to rust; (7) Do not place seals near TVs and places that produce ozone; (8) Do not rub the lip end with your fingernails or hard objects to prevent damage to the sealing lip;

The grinding method can make the mold surface smooth, and the degree of smoothness is related to the following factors: ①. The quality of tool steel ②. Heat treatment process ③. Polishing technology and process equipment It is generally believed that polishing process equipment is the most important influencing factor. Appropriate polishing technology and process equipment combined with high-quality tool steel and correct heat treatment process can achieve satisfactory smoothness. On the contrary, even if the best quality steel is used, it will not achieve a highly mirrored effect.

The property of preventing adhesion and boundary lubrication when the shaft and the bearing are in direct contact. The material factors that affect the friction compatibility of the friction pair are: (1) The metallurgical difficulty of the pair materials to form an alloy. (2) The affinity between the material and the lubricant. (3) The friction coefficient of the pair materials in the unlubricated state. (4) The microstructure of the material. (5) The thermal conductivity of the material. (6) The size of the material surface energy and the characteristics of the oxide film.

Bearing cage (also known as bearing retainer) refers to a bearing part that partially wraps all or part of the rolling elements and moves with them, isolating the rolling elements, and usually guiding the rolling elements and keeping them in the bearing.

The high-temperature bearing shaft support system requires both high rigidity and as light a mass as possible. To overcome this contradiction, measures such as reducing surface roughness and improving surface strengthening can be taken to improve support rigidity, and hollow shafts can be used to reduce system mass.

When the IKO bearing rotates, the raceway surfaces of the inner and outer rings of the thrust ball bearing are in rolling contact with the rolling elements, so the running track is dark. It is not abnormal for the running track to be attached to the raceway surface. From this, the load conditions can be known. Therefore, when disassembling the bearing, please pay close attention and observe the running track of the raceway surface.

Oil-free lubrication or low-oil lubrication is suitable for places where refueling is impossible or difficult, and can be used without maintenance or with little maintenance.
